A combination of calcium within water and heat from the appliance forms limescale within the heat exchangers waterways. This leads to inefficiency of the appliance and eventual failure if precautions are not carried out. To help prevent such occurrences we are able to chemically descale the appliance.
This consists of attaching a power flushing machine to the appliance and introducing the appropriate descaling chemicals. The chemicals are then pumped around the heat exchanger dissolving any limescale deposits before being drained and flushed. This service helps keep a healthy flow efficiency of water around the appliance and reduces the risk of the high cost of replacement sections within the boiler or the boiler itself if they were to fail.
